These Gods and Goddesses of Color are birthed from the luminescent wombs of free paint color swatch samples, originally housed in home improvement stores but liberated by the artist. The freed paint swatches are cut into 1″ squares and then arranged in mosaics reminiscent of pixilated landscape photos. Painted is then laid over in broad strokes and oil pencil drawings provide the detail in the final layer.
